Dometic introduces new recycled material to design products for sustainability

Dometic is taking an active role in promoting new materials for sustainability. To offer its environmentally conscious customers lower impact choices, Dometic has introduced the new REDUX material. This lightweight polyester, made from 100% recycled plastic bottles with Global Recycled Standard certification, will be used for a wide range of new products.

Protecting nature is paramount to Dometic. We believe that nature is a resource for everyone to enjoy and explore, and our products are made to enable just that.

Dometic is taking an active role in promoting new materials and has initiated projects to develop products with renewable and recycled materials.

The latest announcement contains tents, a new motorhome awning, and some camping furniture slated for release in 2022 – all made using the 100% recycled material, REDUX.

The new material is a lightweight polyester made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and is certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
