Dometic is conducting a voluntary recall of the above model. If you own a caravan or RV with this model fridge/freezer please do not use it again on gas before it has been attended to by an authorised Dometic Service agent.
What is the fault?
A screw securing the cooling unit could possibly be faulty. In extreme cases the cooling unit could move and create vibration at the gas tube connection, thus creating a fire hazard.
What to do?
Check model and serial number detail on the serial plate, located inside fridge behind shelves. If your model is included in the serial number range above, please call toll free number 1800 21 21 21 between 9am to 5pm EST (Monday to Friday).
Follow the prompts to “Service and Technical Advice” and an inspection & upgrade will be arranged free of charge at your nearest authorised Service Agent.
