In the May 2008 issue the German magazine “Reisemobil International” compared Dometic’s CTS 3110 with two toilet systems of a competitor. Seat height, shape and size of the bowl were examined as well as the flushing effect, cassette handling and maintenance. The standard was represented by a normal household toilet with a deep toilet bowl.
Especially the sitting comfort, handling of the cassette tank and the quality benefits of the ceramic inlay convinced the jury to award the CTS 3110 “Best in test”. The article concludes that “Dometic’s toilet provides an interesting alternative” to the conventional sanitation systems.
Random excerpts from the article:
- “The highlight is: Dometic applies a china inlay to the bowl. This makes it more resistant to soiling and scratches.” (page 2)
- “The testers are supposed to feel quite at home on the reference toilet. Dometic’s CTS 3110 came closest to its comfort with its wide seat.” (page 5)
- “The Dometic cassette is easiest to de-air, as its blade serves as a stable handle.” (page 6)
