Dometic Marine has launched the new Dometic EK1600 and EK3200 Gas gimballed hobs and the SMEV Electric BBQ at METS 2009. Specifically designed to provide high quality and easy to use systems, Dometic Marine's latest kitchen solutions will transform any flybridge or galley into a convenient and comfortable cooking space.

Dometic EK1600 and EK3200 Gas hobs
The Dometic EK1600 and EK3200 gas hobs are innovative and convenient cooking solutions. Gimballed to provide additional stability, the gas hobs are ideally suited to the flybridge or galley. The single, EK1600 hob provides power output of 1.6kw, while the dual EK3200 hob provides power output of 3.2kw. The systems also come with a range of useful accessories including adjustable pan holders and heat shields, which are featured as standard.

SMEV Electric BBQ
With a compact footprint and height of 85mm, the SMEV Electric BBQ can be installed easily and wastes no space on the flybridge. Its flush, foldable glass lid includes a magnetic lock to hold it closed when not in use. Inside the BBQ, the grid has been designed to automatically pop up when the lid is opened and can be adjusted to two different positions for the chef's convenience. Once installed and in use, the BBQ can be pivoted and raised, making it extremely easy to clean.
