Growth Targeted With 3 Strategic Appointments



Key Personnel Changes Announced

Dometic Marine, the world leader in marine air conditioning and sanitation systems and equipment announced key personnel changes at Miami International Boat Show: Robert Sagulin becomes Vice President of Marine New Product Strategies; Kester Petersson takes on the role of After Market Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Ned Trigg, Senior Vice President of Global System Sales re-locates to the UK.

Frank Marciano, President of Dometic Marine congratulated them all on their new roles commenting, "I am delighted to announce this new organization change as it better positions the marine division to take advantage of growth opportunities in the European, Middle East, African and Asia Pacific regions. Furthermore it optimises the skills of these key people so they can further grow and help Dometic Marine achieve its long-term business objectives." 

He continues, "Ned, Kester and Robert have worked together in various capacities over the past six years and their dedication, energy and resourcefulness have greatly added to the ongoing success of our global marine business.  They all have passion for what they do and I have learned to count on each of them for the value they bring to the business; in the same way they have learned to count on each other. This team strength is a huge asset for both Dometic and its valued client customers."

Robert Sagulin
Robert Sagulin moves from Vice President of Sales to Vice President of Marine New Product Strategies. In his new role he will be responsible for the development and sourcing of new products across the Dometic brand portfolio to satisfy the requirements of the world-wide marine business sectors. With 25 years' experience at Dometic and a thorough background in engineering and sales, Robert is ideally placed to bring extensive knowledge and understanding to the role.

On his appointment Robert commented, "2010 will be another challenging year, but I plan to focus on establishing a robust strategy for a dynamic product offering, strong branding and consistent distribution that will prepare Dometic for the marine industry's expectant return to growth."

Ned Trigg
Ned Trigg, Senior Vice President of Global System Sales and a veteran with 22 years' experience at Dometic re-locates from the US to the UK to better serve the key growth territories of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. 

On the announcement Ned reflects on the coming year. "I'm looking forward to moving to Europe and working closer with Kester, Robert and other key Dometic team members. All working together, we will continue to innovate and deliver quality products to the market and support the needs of our customers."

Kester Petersson
In the valuable after-market sector, Kester Petersson is confirmed as After Market Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has been with Dometic for 11 years and in his new role will manage the aftermarket sales teams within these territories and support regional country managers with strategic advice and support. 

He comments, "We are optimistic that recovery will be seen in the after-market first so I will be preparing Dometic to maximise this expected upturn.  The Dometic brand portfolio and its commitment to bring innovative products to market are a huge asset for me, as are an experienced and professional sales team."

Following Miami International Boat International Boat Show, Dometic Marine continues the winter show season and exhibits at Gothenburg Boat Show, Sweden (6th -14th February), Seatec, Italy (10th - 15th February), HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show, (2nd - 7th March) and Stockholm Boat Show, Sweden (5th - 14th March).
