Dometic Marine, the world leading supplier of comfort systems for yachts and boats introduces two new gas hob models. Designed to be permanently installed within a galley, fly-bridge or used as a free-standing unit on deck, the single-burner EK 1600 and the twin-burner EK 3200 can be permanently fixed or gimbaled according to the boat owner's requirements.
The hobs are designed for DIY installation or professional retrofit and feature all relevant safety measures including a safety ignition system, individually adjustable pot holders to secure pans and heat shields. Two adjustable flame settings for low (0.5kW) or high (1.6kW) cooking settings.
High-quality stainless steel surfaces and detachable pot holders allow for easy cleaning. Each burner can produce up to 1.6 kW per burner and consumes 115 grammes of gas per hour. The hobs are CE-certified and built to current EC standards for gas appliances and are available through the world-wide Dometic distribution channels.
