Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) specialist Dometic Marine has secured orders to supply its EnviroComfort air conditioning systems to two patrol boats currently being built by Renegade Power Boats. The latest agreement follows Dometic’s successful supply of the systems to eight patrol boats delivered to the Columbian Navy last year.
Florida-based Renegade Power Boats specialises in the supply of high-performance vessels to both the recreational and commercial marine sectors. Exceptionally compact, Dometic Marine’s EnviroComfort unit can be easily installed within small cabins, making it ideally suited to Renegade’s patrol boats which have limited space on-board.
“Having already installed Dometic’s EnviroComfort air conditioning systems aboard 8 patrol boats, we have been very impressed by the performance of the units,” comments Amed Oses, President, Renegade Power Boats. “Its low-profile design enables the system to fit neatly into small spaces on-board, which made it a natural choice when we were commissioned by the Columbian Navy to supply a further two vessels for the fleet.”
Dometic Marine provides an extensive range of HVAC and sanitation systems for the commercial marine, workboat and military markets. For installation support, after-sales service, and maintenance and repair service, the company has an extensive network of offices located in twelve strategic regions across the world which are backed in the field by the world’s largest marine network of authorised distributors, dealers and fully-trained service engineers in over 100 countries worldwide.
