At the 2010 Mid-America Trucking Show, Dometic Group will introduce the new CDF-11 super-slim refrigerator/freezer unit for trucks and other vehicles.
Measuring just 9-1/4 in. wide and 14 in. high, the portable unit weighs just 19 lbs. and provides 0.4 cu. ft. of storage space. The adjustable digital thermostat can be set to provide either cooling or freezing with a temperature range of 0-50°F.
The compressor-driven CDF-11 runs on 12-volt power and draws approximately 3.75 amps.
“This is one of the smallest compressor-powered refrigerator/freezer combination units ever to appear on the market,” said Lou Siegel, senior vice president of Dometic Group’s trucking business unit. “It is especially suited for emergency vehicles and transporting medical supplies.”
