Why is my unit freezing and collecting ice?

There are several reasons that may cause unit freezing.

Cool Mode freezing due to airflow:

1. Clean or replace unit filter.
2. Inspect ductwork for obstructions or crushed sections.
3. Review minimum fan speed and increase if necessary.

Heat Mode:

1. Ensure all strainers are clear of any debris and are cleaned regularly.
2. Confirm the raw water pump is located below the waterline and all valves are in the open position.
3. Confirm the raw water pump is sized appropriately for the application.
