DownloadA few years ago, the challenge of partial shading inspired us to rethink the cell structure of our solar modules. We doubled the number of monocrystalline high-performance cells and connected them both in series and parallel. This innovative approach created multiple solar arrays within each MultiCell module – essentially two modules in one frame. As a result, our panels became far less susceptible to partial shading than standard solar panels.
POWER BLACK LINE solar modules have arrived to set new industry benchmarks. Living up to their name, they combine the best of our POWER LINE and BLACK LINE series. Featuring an innovative glass surface combined with 80 high-performance cells (8 more than in the BLACK LINE series), POWER BLACK LINE modules achieve an unprecedented solar yield, even in diffuse light or when partly shaded by a tree branch, sat antenna or open skylight. Due to a novel wiring system, the new 80-cell high-end modules create optimal conditions for an MPPT solar charge controller. In combination with this advanced control technology, a POWER BLACK LINE solar module generates up to 25% more watts peak than a 72-cell BLACK LINE module of the same dimensions.
