New Refrigerant Introduction to Core 2025 Product Range

We’re excited to share a meaningful upgrade to our marine air conditioning systems in 2025. The introduction of R-454B, a new refrigerant designed to reduce environmental impact while delivering the reliable cooling you rely on.

What R-454B Means for You

Let's start with the facts. Refrigerants play a crucial role in keeping your systems cool, but traditional options can contribute to global warming if released into the atmosphere which can happen due to leaks or improper disposal at the end of a systems life. When contained within a sealed system, they pose no direct environmental impact. The new refrigerant (R-454B) reduces Global Warming Potential (GWP) by an impressive 78% compared to the commonly used R-410A. R-454B offers a forward-thinking solution, maintaining the cooling power you need while greatly reducing the potential impact on the environment.
